Raise a Glass to Support Young Athletes Battling Cancer

KICKcancER is excited to announce “Cocktails for a Cause,” a special fundraising event aimed at making a difference in the lives of young athletes fighting cancer. Set for Thursday, September 5th, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Pacific Coast Spirits in Oceanside, CA, this event promises an evening of community, compassion, and celebration.

Why Attend?

Cocktails for a Cause is more than just an evening out—it’s an opportunity to contribute to a powerful mission. Every dollar raised during this event will go directly to the KICKcancER Athlete Scholarship Program. This program is dedicated to helping young cancer warriors stay active and healthy during and after their treatment by providing scholarships that allow them to continue participating in their favorite sports.

Event Highlights

  • Signature Cocktails: Enjoy KICKcancER’s special cocktails, crafted to perfection, as you mingle with supporters and the KICKcancER team.
  • Live Music: Acoustic artist John Manley will set the mood with live music throughout the evening.
  • Silent Auction: Participate in an extensive silent auction with incredible items up for grabs. The auction is already live, and new items are being added daily, so you can start bidding even if you can’t attend the event in person.
  • Meet the Team: Take the chance to connect with the founders, families, and team members of KICKcancER, all while supporting a wonderful cause.

How to Participate

  • In-Person: Join us at Pacific Coast Spirits for an evening of fun, philanthropy, and community spirit. The event runs from 5 PM to 8 PM, and reservations are encouraged.
  • Online: If you can’t make it in person, you can still participate by bidding in the online auction. With items available from a variety of generous donors, there’s something for everyone, and every bid helps support the cause.

Meet Sophia: A KICKcancER Warrior

One of the many inspiring stories from the KICKcancER community is that of Sophia, a brave young girl who has faced brain cancer with unwavering strength. Despite battling Posterior Fossa Syndrome and undergoing extensive treatments, Sophia continues to embody the spirit of a true warrior. Though her illness prevented her from continuing as a competitive figure skater, Sophia found a new passion in cheerleading. With the help of a $500 KICKcancER Scholarship, Sophia joined the US Nationals Special Olympics Traditional Cheer Team, representing the USA at the International Cheer Union World Championship.

Join Us in Supporting Our Young Athletes

This fundraiser is a critical effort to provide more scholarships to children like Sophia, who are courageously battling cancer. Whether you attend in person or participate online, your support will help KICKcancER continue to make a positive impact in the lives of these young athletes.

We look forward to raising a glass with you—whether in person or virtually—as we honor and support these incredible warriors. Visit KICKcancERMovement.org to RSVP, shop the auction, or learn more about how you can get involved.
